Hey! I meant to post this yesterday, but I was exhausted and I forgot about it so.... here I am, posting it today:
Back from the Maths Challenge!
The past two days have been so much fun, and meeting/messing around with new people while doing maths has just been the coolest thing. Of course, I'm really disappointed that I didn't get to spend the last school days of the year with my friends but it's just a really bad coincedence that they shifted the challenge a week later than last year.
I'm not feeling particularly in a "writing-well" mood, so I won't write much and thus refrain myself from writing a load of poo.
Anways, there's this UK, children's television show on ABC's Rollercoaster showing at the moment called "Jeopardy", and I just thought I'd mention how much I hated it. It's been on once ages ago, but after a small preview, it's been years before I've been able to pluck up the courage to actually watch the show. I'm not entirely sure - I lost concentration -, but I think that Jeopardy is about a bunch of teenagers from Scotland (or Ireland?) who travel down to Australia to find aliens in the outback or something (?). Yeah, but basically, all I wanted to say about it is that I really, really, really, REALLLY hate it. Seriously, who thought of it?! The entire film is basically made up of a bunch of oily, dirty, ugly kids who go on a trip which coincedentally, NO ONE knows about, continually get lost, lose all communication, and all their adult contacts all "just happen" to die. *ugh*. And that's not the worse part. The entire program is just made up of "footage" that each kid films from their video cameras. They literally film EVERYTHING - from themselves when their alone, each other sitting around camp to lounging around, holding a camera when another character is bitten by a poisonous snake, dying. Of course, this means that all we get is bad filming, home-video quality images and just general YUCK. Plus, they're a really, really ugly bunch of Scottish (maybe Irish) kids.
Most people would know that I am a MASSIVE fan Europe and the UK, so I'm not making any racist generalisations. I love UK Youtube and all; but these are the ugliest kids I've ever seen. They should quit the acting business and stay in their homes forever.
